Description: This carving was removed from a church in Italy during a remodel. Other carvings of saints that had lined the hallways were also removed during this renovation. This one depicts Saint Francis of Assisi, "The Patron Saint of Animals and Ecology". Unfortunately I'm unable to find any of the other carvings that were removed from the church during its remodeling.
