Artist Statement: Our local club had a competition on turning a pear and I thought it would apply to this. It has been the only time I have worked inside the box. When I was a kid I worked in a vegetable market and we received all our veggies in crates so that was where my idea came from. It is turned and carved and painted in acrylics.
